Men's Tennis Drops Match To Lancaster Bible, 5-4

IMMACULATA, Pa.
- Immaculata University's men's tennis team dropped a 5-4 non-conference match to Lancaster Bible College on Monday afternoon. 

After dropping the three doubles matches, the Mighty Macs came back to win four of the singles matches. Demetrios Vlahos defeated Grant Noel, 6-2, 6-1, at No. 1 singles, and Eric Schmidt won his match at No. 2 singles against Alex Derus, 6-3, 6-3. Joe Walker was a 6-1, 7-5 victor against Brandon Cutler at fourth singles while Todd Stokley won his match at fifth singles against Jeremy Davis, 7-6 (7-0), 3-6, 10-5.

Immaculata almost won the match had the battle at No. 1 doubles gone the Mighty Macs' way. Vlahos and T.J. Klinger fought until the end against Noel and Derus before losing 11-9.

Immaculata (0-7) heads to Cabrini tomorrow afternoon at 4 p.m. for a re-scheduled match. The Mighty Macs' match on Wednesday against Penn State Abington has been cancelled.
