SCRANTON, Pa. – Immaculata University fell to host Marywood University, 9-0, on Friday afternoon in Colonial States Athletic Conference play.
Marywood improved to 2-5 overall (1-0 CSAC) with the win while Immaculata fell to 0-6 (0-2 CSAC).
In singles play, Marywood's Todd Doran was a 6-2, 6-1 winner over Demtrios Vlahos in the top singles spot while Evan Bolus followed with a 6-1, 6-1 win over
Eric Schmidt at No. 2 singles. Daniel Pfafman won 6-2, 6-2 at third singles against
T.J. Klinger, and Ryan Mulqueen beat
Joe Walker 6-1, 6-1 at fourth singles.
Immaculata heads to Cabrini tomorrow afternoon for a 12 p.m. match with the Cavaliers.
