READING, Pa. – Immaculata University's men's tennis squad dropped an 8-1 decision to Penn State Berks on Tuesday afternoon in a non-conference match.
The Mighty Macs' picked up a point at the top doubles position as
Demetrios Vlahos and
T.J. Klinger defeated Steven Roughton and George Chacko, 9-7.
The Nittany Lions (2-4) swept singles action to win the match, but the Mighty Macs won games at five of the six positions. Vlahos was almost victorious at his No. 1 singles match against Roughton, but fell in a tie-breaker, 4-6, 6-0, 10-1.
Immaculata (0-4) opens Colonial States Athletic Conference action tomorrow afternoon hosting Baptist Bible College at 3:30 p.m.
