Cabrini Tops Immaculata In CSAC Quarterfinals, 3-1

RADNOR, Pa.
– Immaculata University's men's soccer team saw its season come to a close on Thursday night in the Colonial States Athletic Conference (CSAC) quarterfinals. The visiting No. 5-seed Mighty Macs were defeated 3-1 by the host fourth-seeded Cabrini College Cavaliers at Edith Robb Dixon Field.
 
Immaculata's Kyle Counsellor scored his first goal of the season with 1:48 remaining in the contest off an assist from Ramon Ochoa. Counsellor's tally cut the Mighty Macs' deficit to 3-1.
 
Cabrini led 2-0 at halftime after finding the back of the net in the 25th and 38th minutes. The Cavaliers took a 3-0 advantage after scoring again in the 81st minute.
 
Immaculata goalkeeper Chris Raudabaugh made five saves, while Cabrini keeper Eric Nowicki made two stops.
 
Immaculata ends the 2012 season 3-11-2 overall. Cabrini improves to 9-7-3 and advances to the CSAC Tournament semifinals to face top-seeded Neumann on Friday, Nov. 2.
