SELINSGROVE, Pa. – Immaculata University volleyball split action on day one of the Susquehanna Invitational defeating Bryn Athyn, 3-1, in its first match of the day and falling to Catholic University, 3-0, in the nightcap.
Immaculata defeated Bryn Athyn, 3-1, by scores of 5-19, 22-25, 25-19 and 25-22. The Mighty Macs were swept by the Cardinals, 25-14, 25-18 and 25-15.
In their match against Bryn Athyn,
Jamie Rombach recorded a double-double for the Mighty Macs with 19 assists and 14 digs while adding nine kills and three blocks.
Stephanie Johler amassed four kills, five blocks, two service aces and 12 digs, and
Allison Lang posted eight kills, seven blocks and two service aces.
Brooke Schreffler made 26 digs to lead the defense.
Immaculata completes tournament action Sunday playing Penn State Behrend at 12 p.m. and host Susquehanna at 2 p.m.
