Men's Soccer Suffers 1-0 Defeat To Cairn

LANGHORNE, Pa.
– Immaculata University's men's soccer squad lost a tough 1-0 decision at Cairn University on Saturday afternoon in Colonial States Athletic Conference (CSAC) play.
 
The Mighty Macs record falls to 2-8 overall and 2-2 in the CSAC, while the Highlanders improve to 5-5-2, 3-1 CSAC.
 
It remained a scoreless contest for the first 76 minutes before host Cairn broke through with a penalty kick opportunity. Cody Mosely converted the penalty kick in the 77th minute, and it proved to be the difference in the game.
 
Immaculata goalkeeper Chris Raudabaugh put on a strong performance in net with eight saves. Cairn goalkeeper David Shaffer made four stops.
 
Cairn edged Immaculata in both shots (14-10) and corner kicks (4-3).
 
Immaculata hosts Cabrini at 4 p.m. on October 10 at Draper Walsh Stadium in its next contest.
