CAMDEN, N.J. – Immaculata University's women's volleyball team dropped a 3-2 non-league decision on the road at Rutgers-Camden Tuesday evening.
Immaculata (7-21) registered 36 kills, 16 service aces and eight blocks as a team for the match.
Alexandra Okoro and
Jamie Rombach led the way with eight kills apiece. Rombach finished with 17 assists, eight digs and three blocks.
Andrea Okoro notched six kills for the Mighty Macs.
Brooke Schreffler registered 22 digs for Immaculata, defensively, while
Brittany Thompson had nine digs and 10 assists.
Allison Lang recorded five total blocks.
Stephanie Johler served up six aces and made three blocks to go along with five kills.
However, Rutgers-Camden was too strong, both offensively and defensively, posting 55 kills and 80 digs in the match.
Immaculata finishes up the regular season at Rosemont on Thursday night at 7 p.m.
