Mighty Macs Defeated 3-0 By Neumann

IMMACULATA, Pa.
– Immaculata University men's soccer dropped a 3-0 contest to Colonial States Athletic Conference rival Neumann University on Saturday afternoon at Draper Walsh Stadium.
 
The visiting Knights tallied one goal in the first half to lead 1-0 at halftime. Francis Kailondo put Neumann on the board in the 28th minute on an assist from Nick Ranalli.
 
It wasn't until the 68th minute that the Knights scored again from Caleb Clanton, and Neumann added its final marker in the 79th minute from Michael Frei.
 
Neumann improved to 10-5-3 overall and 6-0-1 in the CSAC, while Immaculata slips to 2-10-1, 2-4-1 CSAC.
 
Immaculata goalkeeper Chris Raudabuagh made six well-earned saves, while Neumann keeper Alex Lacko did not record a stop.
 
Neumann outshot Immaculata 18-1 and held a 10-2 advantage in corner kicks.
 
The Mighty Macs' best opportunity of the day came on one of their two corner kicks that Kyle Counsellor headed just over the crossbar.
