O'Donnell Scores Twice in Defeat at Neumann

ASTON, Pa.-
Sophomore Ashley O'Donnell tallied two goals, the second of which pulled the Mighty Macs within one goal at 3-2 in the second half, but the Knights put the game away with another goal late to seal the 4-2 Neumann win.  The loss drops Immaculata to 1-14 on the season and 1-5 in the CSAC.

Marisa Rizzo tallied the only goal of the first half to give Neumann a 1-0 lead at the break, but both teams picked it up offensively in the second half.

After the Knights extended their lead to 2-0, Ashley O'Donnell scored an unassisted goal in the 48th minute to cut the deficit in half at 2-1.

Neumann again pushed their lead to two goals on Chelsea O'Donnell's second goal of the game just over a minute later, but Ashley O'Donnell scored her second goal of the day and seventh of the season on Tiffany Lockfeld's second assist of the year to make it a 3-2 game with just under 20 minutes to play.

However, the Knights iced the game on a 52nd minute goal to give Neumann the 4-2 victory.  Neumann is now 3-3 in the conference.

The Mighty Macs outshot Neumann 16-7, while Patsy Murphy tallied four saves on the day.

The Mighty Macs will be back in action for their final home game of the year on Wednesday at 4 p.m. against Cabrini.
