IMMACULATA, Pa. – Immaculata University rallied from an early deficit to force its volleyball match with Baptist Bible College to a deciding fifth set on Tuesday night. However, the visiting Defenders closed out the match for a 3-2 win after scores of 25-22, 27-25, 16-25, 23-25 and 15-9.

Alexandra Okoro recorded a team-best 13 kills, while
Jamie Rombach fell just shy of a triple-double with nine kills, 16 assists and 10 digs.

Stephanie Johler had a match-high seven service aces and three blocks.
Brittany Thompson was the Mighty Macs' top setter with 18 assists and nine digs.
Brooke Schreffler made a match-leading 17 digs.
Emily Gordon led Baptist Bible with 21 kills while Jessica White had a double-double with 15 kills and 12 digs and added five blocks. Hannah Rehm had 35 assists.
Immaculata slips to 3-13, 1-4 in the Colonial States Athletic Conference. Baptist Bible improved to 9-8 overall while evening its league mark at 2-2.
The Mighty Macs travel to Albright on Thursday for a 7 p.m. non-conference match.
