GWYNEDD VALLEY, Pa. – Immaculata University's women's soccer squad was defeated on the road Saturday afternoon, 3-0, by host Gwynedd-Mercy College.
The host Griffins tallied one goal in the first half at the 18th minute to lead the Colonial States Athletic Conference game 1-0 at halftime.
Gwynedd-Mercy scored second-half goals just 3:01 apart to lead 3-0 by the 54th minute of the game. Meghan Bojanowski scored the first two Gwynedd-Mercy goals, while Maura Gifford tallied the third goal.
Gwynedd-Mercy outshot Immaculata 17-4.
Bridget Cunningham took three of the Mighty Macs' four shots.

Meghan McCurnin made seven saves.
Immaculata's record drops to 2-9-2 overall and 2-3-2 in the CSAC. Gwynedd-Mercy is now 6-7-2, 3-2-2 CSAC.
Immaculata travels to Marywood on Oct. 16 at 4 p.m.
