Volleyball Defeated 3-0 By Cairn

IMMACULATA, Pa. – Immaculata University fell in Colonial States Athletic Conference volleyball action Saturday morning, 3-0, to Cairn University. The visiting Highlanders won the match against the host Mighty Macs by scores of 25-15, 25-7 and 25-21.
 
Immaculata (6-18, 2-6 CSAC) was paced offensively by Alexandra Okoro's seven kills and three blocks. Andrea Okoro finished with six kills and two service aces. Stephanie Johler and Allison Lang each assisted on three blocks. Jamie Rombach had eight assists, four kills and two blocks. Brittany Thompson made five assists and seven digs. Brooke Schreffler also had seven digs.
 
Emily Mayer had 12 kills to lead Cairn (15-9, 4-2 CSAC). Abbie Keating amassed a double-double with 11 kills and 12 digs. Brigid Shehan registered a match-best 15 digs.
 
Immaculata plays its final match at home on Wednesday, hosting Gwynedd-Mercy at 7 p.m.
