IMMACULATA, Pa. – Immaculata's men's soccer team was defeated in its home opener on a rain-soaked Wednesday afternoon by Ursinus, 2-0.
The Mighty Macs (0-4) and Bears (1-1) played a scoreless first half which also included a lightning delay with 13:27 remaining before intermission.
Ursinus scored just 3:10 into the second half as Ricky Griffith deposited Colin Kunkle's pass into the back of the net. The Bears added an insurance goal in the 54th minute as Nick DeSpirito headed Cameron Labeck's corner kick into the goal.

Chris Raudabaugh played a complete game recording seven saves. Ursinus keeper Mike Alfieri registered four stops in 90 minutes.
Ursinus held a 16-6 advantage in shots against Immaculata.
The Mighty Macs will be back on the pitch Saturday afternoon at 1 p.m. hosting Misericordia.
