SWARTHMORE, Pa. – The Immaculata University men's soccer opened the Garnet Alumni Classic hosted by 20th-ranked Swarthmore College on Saturday evening with a 9-0 loss to the hosts.
The Garnet did most of its scoring in the first half as Swarthmore posted seven goals in the opening frame. Immaculata held Swarthmore scoreless for nearly 40 minutes until the Garnet scored two goals during the final eight minutes of the match.

Chris Raudabaugh came on in relief of starter
Josh Garcia to start the second half and made 12 saves while allowing just the two late goals. Garcia, who played the first 45 minutes, made four saves for the Mighty Macs.
The Garnet got two goals each from David Strengold and Chris Lynn while goalkeeper David D'Annunzio was not forced to make a save.
The Mighty Macs continues play in the Garnet Alumni Classic on Sunday afternoon with a 2 p.m. contest against Widener University.
