Women's Soccer Ties Baptist Bible, 1-1, In Double Overtime

IMMACULATA, Pa.-
Immaculata's women's soccer team played to a 1-1 double overtime tie versus Baptist Bible College in women's soccer  Colonial States Athletic Conference (CSAC) action  on Saturday at Draper Walsh Stadium.

The Mighty Macs move to 2-2-1 overall while the Defenders post a 4-2-1 overall mark.

Immaculata's Bridget Cunningham put the Mighty Macs on top in the 51st minute but the Defenders answered with a tying goal at the 67:11 mark as Sandy Richie netted her eighth goal of the season.

Immaculata finished the contest out-shooting Baptist Bible 18-8 and owned a 7-3 edge in corner kicks.

Immaculata goalkeeper Meghan McCurnin made six saves while Baptist Bible goalkeeper Erica Thomson totaled 13 saves.

Immaculata is back in action on Tuesday, Sept. 27 at Philadelphia Bible for a 4 p.m. contest against the Crimson Eagles.
