GLENSIDE, Pa. – Immaculata University men's soccer opened the 2011 season on Thursday afternoon with a 3-0 loss at Arcadia in non-conference play.

The host Knights (1-0) scored twice in the first half and five minutes into the second half to take the win from the Mighty Macs (0-1). Spencer Lalk, Zachary Todd and Joe Bagnall all netted goals for Arcadia.

Nic Jorge, Tyler Hembree and Kyle Counsellor all made their Immaculata debuts in the match. Josh Garcia started and played the first 74 minutes in goal for the Mighty Macs making three saves. Chris Raudabaugh played the final 16 minutes in goal making one save.

Immaculata heads to Swarthmore on Saturday night for a 7 p.m. match against the Garnet in the Garnet Alumni Classic.
