Men's Tennis Drops Match To Cabrini, 6-3

IMMACULATA, Pa.
– Immaculata University's men's tennis squad dropped a 6-3 decision to visiting Cabrini on Monday afternoon in Colonial States Athletic Conference play.

The Mighty Macs (2-9, 2-3 CSAC) picked up singles victories at No. 1, 2 and 5. Nick Tarlecki, playing the top position for Immaculata, defeated Ian Monson, 6-1, 6-2. Demetrios Vlahos downed his Cabrini (3-11, 2-2 CSAC) counterpart Walter Jesuncosky, 6-1, 6-1, at second singles. T.J. Klinger won the final point for the Mighty Macs as he defeated Joe Stafford, 6-1, 7-5, at the No. 5 spot.

Eric Schmidt also pulled out a fourth point for Immaculata as he rallied in his match at third singles against Nathan Martin. Martin eventually won the match in a tiebreaker, 7-6 (7-4), 4-6, 10-6.

Immaculata heads to Keystone tomorrow afternoon at 4 p.m. for a match with the Giants.
