Volleyball Swept By Baptist Bible

CLARKS SUMMIT, Pa.
- The Immaculata University volleyball squad fell to Baptist Bible College, 3-0, on Saturday morning in a Colonial States Athletic Conference macth. The host Defenders claimed the match after set scores of 26-24, 25-19 and 25-22.

Immaculata (6-8, 2-3 CSAC) was paced by nine kills from Lindsey Silvestro, while Courtney Sahm and Tamara Dabady each registered four kills apiece. Dabady led the team with three blocks. Kathleen Haefner recorded 23 assists. Brooke Schreffler tallied a team-leading 19 digs, and Sahm also had double-figure digs with 10.

Baptist Bible (10-15, 5-1 CSAC) had four players record double-doubles. Jessica White tied for the team lead in kills with 10 while totaling a team-best 19 digs. Katelin Broughton set up 35 Defender kills and made 10 digs. Laura Grace Hodupp and Jaycee Shirk were the other Baptist Bible players to have double-double performances. 

Immaculata travels to Arcadia on Monday evening at 7 p.m for a make-up contest with the Knights.
