Men's Soccer Cruises On Senior Day

IMMACULATA, Pa.
- The Immaculata University men's soccer squad celebrated Senior Day on Tuesday afternoon at Draper Walsh Stadium in grand fashion as the Mighty Macs cruised to a 5-0 win against visiting Penn State Berks in non-conference play.

Senior Chris Dickinson scored two goals and had one assist to lead Immaculata with five points in the contest. Steven Bio, Tyler Hembree and Ben Tuscai all also scored for the Mighty Macs, and Kyle Craig registered two assists.

Immaculata (4-13-1) struck for three goals in the first half. Dickinson started the scoring in the 25th minute as he curved his corner kick into the back of the net. Hembree scored his first collegiate goal in the 34th minute on a feed from Craig. Tuscai capped the first-half scoring with less than three minutes remaining in the half as he went free to the goal after getting the feed from Dickinson.

Dickinson scored his second goal of the contest in the 65th minute as his shot hit the far post and bounced in the side of the net. Bio added Immaculata's fifth goal in the 75th minute as he scored on an assist from Craig.
 
Immaculata goalkeeper Joshua Garcia played the first 74 minutes making four saves to earn the win. Penn State Berks goalie Jonathan Jablonka registered 11 stops.
 
Penn State Berks slips to 2-16 overall this season.
 
Immaculata dominated both shots (25-5) and corners (14-0).
 
The Mighty Macs wrap up the 2011 season on Thursday afternoon at 4 p.m. traveling to Penn State Harrisburg.
