SCRANTON, Pa. – Immaculata University's men's soccer squad dropped a 2-0 decision to host Marywood University in a Colonial States Athletic Conference contest Tuesday evening.
With the loss, Immaculata falls to 2-13-1 overall and 1-6-1 in the conference while Marywood improves to 10-3 overall and 6-1 in the CSAC.
The Pacers scored a pair of goals four minutes apart late in the first half to take a 2-0 lead into the locker room at halftime. However, the Mighty Macs put forth an inspired second half and controlled much of the action over the final 45 minutes. Immaculata just could not finish its chances.
Chris Raudabaugh made four saves going the distance in goal for Immaculata. Jared El Gayeh picked up the win for Marywood making one save in 77 minutes.
The Mighty Macs return to action Saturday at Gwynedd-Mercy at 12 p.m.
