DOVER, Pa. – Immaculata University volleyball split its non-conference tri-match on Saturday afternoon as it defeated Wesley, 3-2, and fell to Rowan, 3-1. The Mighty Macs claimed the five-set win against the Wolverines, 25-23, 24-26, 25-18, 17-25 and 15-8. The Profs won the second match of the day for the Mighty Macs, 25-18, 25-13, 25-27, 25-21.
In the first match of the day for the Mighty Macs (6-6) against host Wesley,
Lindsey Silvestro led the team with seven kills and seven total blocks.
Haley Swearer and
Andrea Okoro each tallied six kills, and
Tamara Dabady served up four aces and made four blocks.
Kathleen Haefner registered 28 assists and had a team-leading six service aces.
Brooke Schreffler led the defense making 19 digs.
In Immaculata's second match of against Rowan, Silvestro led the team again this time with 12 kills, and Swearer and Dabady each added six kills. Haefner also recorded six kills to go along with 38 assists. Schreffler paced the defense with 21 digs.
Immaculata hosts Neumann on Wednesday night at 7 p.m. in a Colonial States Athletic Conference match at Alumnae Hall.
