Immaculata Tops Baptist Bible, 66-47

IMMACULATA, Pa.
– Immaculata University defeated Baptist Bible 66-47 in Colonial States Athletic Conference play on Monday evening at Alumnae Hall. 

The Mighty Macs improved to 7-10 on the season with a 5-5 record within the league. The Defenders fall to 5-11 overall, 3-6 CSAC with the loss. 

Rob Siter led all scorers with 15 points and was one of four Mighty Macs to score in double figures. Nelson Torres and Brandon Smith each chipped in 12 points, while Darnell Malabet registered 10 points, including a 3-for- 6 performance from behind the arc, and six steals in the win. 

Immaculata took a 38-22 edge at halftime and never trailed in the second half as the Mighty Macs pulled away for the 19 point victory. Matt Roberts recorded a double-double for the Defenders registering 11 points to go along with 11 rebounds. 

Immaculata travels to Cabrini for CSAC action on Thursday evening  beginning at 8 p.m.
