SWARTHMORE, Pa. - Immaculata University's men's soccer team lost to 17th-ranked Swarthmore College, 3-0, on Sunday afternoon in the Garnet Alumni Classic.

The Mighty Macs (0-3) held the Garnet to just one goal during the opening half as Kieran Reichert scored in the 38th minute. Fabian Castro scored just nine minutes apart to begin the second half for Swarthmore, and the Garnet went on to the 3-0 win.

Immaculata goalkeepers Joshua Garcia and Chris Raudabaugh were under pressure all afternoon as Swarthmore (2-0) fired 27 shots. Garcia, who started and played the first 81 minutes, made five saves before being lifted for Raudabaugh, who made one stop during the final nine minutes.

Brendan Ackley and Joe Walker took Immaculata's two shots of the match.

Immaculata continues its season-opening road trip on Wednesday, Sept. 8, heading to Albright for a 7 p.m. start.
