Immaculata Men's Soccer Zips Penn State Abington, 3-0

IMMACULATA, Pa.Kevin Glenn scored on a penalty kick and Kameron Teel added a pair as Immaculata recorded a 3-0 shutout victory against Penn State Abington on Wednesday night at Draper Walsh Stadium in men's soccer non-conference action.

Immaculata (2-6-1) heads into conference play coming off the win, and Penn State Abington is now even at 4-4-1.

Glenn scored his second goal in as many games in the 26th minute as he converted a penalty kick opportunity into the Mighty Macs' first tally of the evening. It would be the only score of the first half, as both teams played swarming defense.

Teel netted his first goal just 3:19 into the second frame as used his fancy footwork to beat the Nittany Lions last line of defense and bury it into the net. Teel sealed the win for the Mighty Macs in the 60th minute as he scored on Daniel Arteglier's feed.  

Immaculata keeper Chris Raudabaugh was forced to make just four saves while Penn State Abington goalie Daniel Carmack made five stops.

Immaculata held just a slight 13-12 advantage in shots, and Penn State Abington held the 8-1 lead in corners.

Immaculata opens CSAC play on Saturday at 3 p.m. as it hosts Neumann at Draper Walsh Stadium in the final match of a tripleheader.
