Tennis Downed By Neumann

ASTON, Pa. - The Immaculata University men's tennis team was defeated in a Colonial States Athletic Conference (CSAC) match by Neumann University, 9-0, on Thursday afternoon.

Both Immaculata's one and three doubles team won two games off its Neumann opponents, as both fell by scores of 8-2.

In singles action, Nick Tarlecki was defeated by Greg Bridgeman, 6-1, 6-2, at second singles, while Demetrios Vlahos, playing at third singles, fell to Brian Crispin, 6-1, 6-0. Neumann's Dan Harnos won at fourth singles, 6-2, 6-0, over Eric Schmidt. Both Mike Pancoast and Mike Tyrell played pro-sets, at fifth and sixth, respectively, with Pancoast falling 8-3 and Tyrell went down, 8-4.

Immaculata (0-7, 0-3 CSAC) returns home this Saturday hosting Baptist Bible. The match is slated to start at 1 p.m.
