IMMACULATA, Pa. – Immaculata University was defeated by Penn State Abington, 9-0, on Tuesday afternoon in a non-league men's tennis match.

The Nittany Lions won all three doubles matches. The Mighty Macs' top doubles pair of Nick Tarlecki and Dave Harlan played the closest of all three matches, falling 8-5 to Glen Seeberger and HuYoung Kim.

Tarlecki also battled Seeberger in at the top-flighted singles position before losing by scores of 7-5, 7-5. Eric Schmidt also picked up his first singles win this season at fourth singles. Schmidt won the second set off Artem Busorgina, but was unable to hold on for the victory in the decisive third set, 6-2, 4-6, 6-3.

Immaculata (0-6) returns to league action on Thursday traveling to Neumann at 4 p.m.
