IMMACULATA, Pa. - Immaculata University men's tennis was halted by Marywood University, 9-0, on Saturday afternoon in a Colonial States Athletic Conference match.

Immaculata (0-5, 0-2 CSAC) had its best chance of picking up a point at fifth singles, where Mike Tyrell was beaten by Bao Nguyen, 6-3, 6-3.

The Pacers (6-3, 2-0) began the match sweeping doubles action. The Mighty Macs' pair of Mike Hermansen and Tyrell at third doubles was the only duo to win a game.

In singles play, Eric Schmidt took a game off Todd Doran in his match at the third position, 6-1, 6-0, while Mike Pancoast went down to Daniel Pfafman, 6-0, 6-2, at the fifth position.

Immaculata takes a break from league action on Tuesday as it travels to Alvernia for a 3:30 p.m. match.
