COLLEGEVILLE, Pa. – The Immaculata University men's tennis team opened up its 2010 slate on Tuesday afternoon with a 9-0 loss at Ursinus. 

The Mighty Macs begin the season 0-1 overall while the Bears improve their mark to 1-4.

In singles play, Dave Harlan lost to Kevin Dean, 6-1, 6-0, at the second position. At number three, Demetrios Vlahos was defeated by Chris Wyshock, 6-1, 6-3.

At the number five flight, Ursinus' Jason Zerbe defeated Mike Pancoast, 6-1, 6-0, and the Bears also claimed a 6-2, 6-1 win at sixth singles against Mike Hermansen.

Pancoast and Hermansen were defeated 8-1 by Kyle Davis and Matt Surman at third doubles.

Immaculata travels to Penn State Harrisburg on Thursday for a 3:30 p.m. match.
