Women's Soccer Pullls Out Win At Baptist Bible

CLARKS SUMMIT, Pa. Bridget Cunningham scored the game-winning goal in the 83rd minute to lift visiting Immaculata University to the 3-2 win at Baptist Bible on Saturday afternoon.

Immaculata improves to 5-7-1 overall and 4-3 in the Colonial States Athletic Conference with the victory. Baptist Bible falls to 6-5, 2-2 CSAC.

The Mighty Macs fell behind by a goal early, but rallied to score twice before halftime and take a 2-1 lead into the break. Kim Steinke scored from just outside the penalty area in the 20th minute, and Stephanie Karmondy scored from long range in the 39th minute to put Immaculata in front.

Baptist Bible's Katie Hess tied things up in the 70th minute with a goal off a rebound. However, Cunningham scored off an assist from Amanda Markie to give the Mighty Macs the win.

Jessica Gaburo made six saves, going the distance in goal for Immaculata. Baptist Bible's Karin Mowry made seven saves in 84 minutes before being relieved by Cierra Byron.

Immaculata travels to Penn State Berks on Wednesday afternoon for a non-conference match beginning at 4 p.m.
