Men's Soccer Battles But Falls Short

CLARKS SUMMIT, Pa. – Immaculata men's soccer squad suffered a 4-1 setback on the road at Baptist Bible in a CSAC showdown Saturday afternoon.

Immaculata slips to 2-9-1overall, 0-3-0 in the CSAC. Baptist Bible improved to 4-8-0 overall and 2-2-0 in the conference.

Baptist Bible's Gavin Gromacki scored two goals less than three minutes apart in the first half, and Josiah Mantz scored twice in the second half.

Immaculata's Chris Conlan cut Baptist Bible's lead in half before the break. But, the Mighty Macs could not get any closer. Chad Mascitelli made eight saves in 70 minutes of action after relieving Chris Raudabaugh in the first half.

The Mighty Macs welcome the Marywood Pacers into Draper Walsh Stadium on Saturday, Oct. 16, for a 1 p.m. start.
