SCRANTON, Pa. – Immaculata University fell to Marywood University, 3-0, in its final volleyball match of the season on Saturday afternoon. The host Pacers took the match from the Mighty Macs by scores of 25-12, 26-24 and 25-13.
Tamara Dabady and Allison Lang each totaled three kills to lead the Immaculata squad. Lindsey Silvestro also added two kills and two blocks. Kathleen Haefner recorded nine assists, 10 digs and two blocks, while Brooke Schreffler led the team with 13 digs.
The Pacers got eight kills and 12 digs from Emily Fillman and seven kills from Lauren Rotunda. Alyssa Hartranft recorded a match-high 26 assists, while Rachel Tollett added a match-best 15 digs.
The Mighty Macs end their season 5-20 overall and 3-8 in the Colonial States Athletic Conference. Marywood, which enters the CSAC Tournament as the four seed, improves to 15-8, 8-3 CSAC.
