Men's Soccer Shuts Out Rosemont, 2-0

IMMACULATA, Pa.
– Immaculata University's men's soccer team celebrated Senior Day on Thursday afternoon with a victory over visiting Rosemont, 2-0, at Draper Walsh Stadium.

With the win, the Mighty Macs improved to 5-12-1 overall and 2-6 in Colonial States Athletic Conference play. The Ravens drop to 3-13-1 overall and 2-5-1 in the CSAC.

After playing a scoreless first half, Kyle Craig opened the scoring for the Mighty Macs with a goal in the 65th minute, assisted by Kameron Teel. Teel followed up Craig's goal with a score in the 87th minute on an assist by Brendan Ackley

Immaculata goalkeeper Chad Mascitelli, making his first career start on senior day, made one save in the shutout. Ravens' goalkeeper Nick Hulayew made 11 saves on the losing end.

Immaculata held a 20-6 advantage in shots and a 10-1 advantage in corner kicks.

Immaculata travels to Centenary College for its final regular-season CSAC contest on Saturday, October 30, at 1 p.m. The Mighty Macs need a win against the Cyclones and Neumann to defeat Rosemont for Immaculata to clinch the sixth seed in the CSAC Tournament.
