Volleyball Falls To Philadelphia Biblical

IMMACULATA, Pa.Immaculata University's volleyball team dropped its Colonial States Athletic Conference match to Philadelphia Biblical University, 3-0, on Thursday evening. The Mighty Macs lost the three sets by scores of 25-22, 25-20 and 25-18 to the Crimson Eagles.

Kathleen Haefner registered a double-double effort with 21 assists and 12 digs, leading the team in both categories. Courtney Sahm also recorded double-figure digs with 10, and Nicole Preziuso finished with eight digs. Jessica Egan's seven kills lead the Mighty Macs, while Tamara Dabady had six kills and a team-best two blocks.

Philadelphia Biblical's Carly Plank had a match-best 15 kills, Rebekah Morrison had 27 assists and Rachel Calderon made 18 digs to lead the Crimson Eagles.

Immaculata is back home on Saturday at 12 p.m. hosting Keystone in CSAC action.
