IMMACULATA, Pa. – Immaculata broke through with two tallies in the second half to defeat Cedar Crest College, 2-1, in a Colonial States Athletic Conference field hockey contest.
With the win, the Mighty Macs secured their spot in the CSAC Tournament as they improved to 4-12 overall and 4-2 in the league. Cedar Crest slips to 3-12 overall, 1-6 in the CSAC.

Katie Becker feed.
Bridget McMenamin gave the Mighty Macs a 2-0 lead when she scored on a pass from
Emily Hallett in the 58th minute.
Cedar Crest cut the lead to one goal, 2-1, with just inside 10 minutes to play in the game as Catherine Onjack pushed in the feed from Tamera Gruzdis.
Immaculata pressured on offense all afternoon, outshooting Cedar Crest 18-3, and having an 8-4 lead in penalty corners.

Britt Worthington recorded the win making no saves, and Cedar Crest keeper Lindsay Harrison made 10 stops in the loss.
Immaculata travels to Keystone on Saturday for a 2 p.m. contest with the Giants.
