Immaculata Men Fall To Cabrini, 78-71

IMMACULATA, Pa.
- The Immaculata University men's basketball team fell to visiting Cabrini College Saturday afternoon, 78-71, at Alumnae Hall in a Colonial States Athletic Conference contest.

Immaculata slips to 8-8 overall and 6-3 in the league while Cabrini remains perfect in the conference at 9-0 and 14-1 overall.

The Mighty Macs placed four players in double figures led by John Boyd's 20 points, including four three pointers. Nelson Torres chipped in 13 points, and Kendall Peters and Rob Siter finished with 12 points apiece.

Cabrini was led by Corey Lemons' 22 points, including a perfect 10-for-10 effort from the foul line during the second half to ice the game for the Cavaliers. Dom Farrello was the other Cavalier in double figures with 18 points.

Cabrini shot 73.5 percent (25-34) from the foul line during the contest but was 18 of 24 during the second half. 

Immaculata hosts Neumann on Monday, Jan. 25 at 8 p.m.
