IMMACULATA, Pa. - Immaculata's men's soccer team played to 0-0 double overtime tie against Albright on a soggy Wednesday afternoon in a non-conference tilt at Draper Walsh Stadium.
Both squads had equal opportunity to net the game winner as Albright held a 16-11 advantage in shots for the contest. However, the Mighty Macs outshot the Lions, 4-3, during the two extra periods.
Along with their four shots in the overtime, the Mighty Macs played aggressively to win the contest. Immaculata was whistled for being offside twice in the two overtimes, and was called for offsides three times during the final three minutes of regulation.
Mitchell Torh and Kameron Teel each took three shots to lead Immaculata's attack. Michael Moore and Alan Lorentz each recorded two shots while Kyle Craig attempted one for the Mighty Macs.
Immaculata goalkeeper Stone Gahagan made five stops during his 110 minutes, and Albright's goalie Billy Howard registered three saves in his complete game.
Immaculata will be back in action at Draper Walsh Stadium Saturday afternoon at 1 p.m. against Gettysburg.
