IMMACULATA, Pa. - Neumann's Melissa Malick snagged the rebound off the pad of Immaculata goalkeeper
Britt Worthington and pushed it into the back of the net 6:50 into overtime, lifting the visiting Knights to a 3-2 victory over Immaculata in a Colonial States Athletic Conference field hockey contest Tuesday night.
Neumann (3-2, 2-0 CSAC) scored just 3:33 into the contest as Callie Emel took a feed from Lauren Hood and buried it pass Worthington for an early 1-0 lead. Immaculata (2-5, 1-2 CSAC) tied the score at 1-all just before halftime as Katherine Becker passed the ball up to a waiting
Lauren Bigos just in front of the cage for the easy goal.
The Knights retook the lead in the 44th minute as Megan Mazur converted on a penalty stroke for the 2-1 advantage.
However, the Mighty Macs were able to used a series of penalty corners to finally produce a score with just over eight minutes remaining in regulation.

Emily Hallett, who then quickly passed it back to Yoder, as Yoder scored her first career goal.
Neumann held a 15-10 advantage in shots while Immaculata led 9-5 in corner opportunities.
Worthington made seven saves in the loss, and Neumann goalkeeper Maggie Carpenter recorded five stops to earn the win.
Immaculata hosts Cabrini on Saturday at Draper Walsh Stadium. Game time is slated for 11 a.m.
