BRYN MAWR, Pa. - Immaculata's volleyball squad dropped both of its matches during the tri-match hosted by Bryn Mawr on Saturday. The Mighty Macs began the morning falling to the host Owls, 3-1, and ended the afternoon losing to Misericordia by the same margin.
Immaculata (0-5) fell to Bryn Mawr by set scores of 27-25, 21-25, 25-15, 25-15, and to Misericordia 25-11, 25-15, 22-25 and 25-15.
Jayme Lenosky amassed a team-best six kills, nine digs and three blocks against the Owls. Kathleen Haefner recorded 27 assists and seven digs while Courtney Sahm led the Mighty Macs with 10 digs against Bryn Mawr.
Against Misericordia, Nicole Preziuso recorded a team-high six kills and nine digs. Lindsey Silvestro was second on the squad with five kills. Haefner tallied 15 assists while Lenoksy led the team with 10 digs and three blocks.
Immaculata begins the league portion of its schedule on Tuesday, Sept. 15, when it travels to the College of Notre Dame at 7 p.m.
