IMMACULATA, Pa. - The Immaculata men's tennis dropped its non-conference match against Penn State Berks, 9-0, Monday afternoon.

The Mighty Macs (1-8) came close to avoiding the sweep at No. 2 singles as Nick Tarlecki and Dave Harlan fought to win six games, but fell to the Nittany Lions' (6-1) tandem of Andrew Miller and Timothy Zaborowski, 8-6.

Bobby DeYoung, Harlan and Michael Pancoast all lost 6-1, 6-1 matches at the No. 1,4 and 5 singles positions, respectively. Demetrios Vlahos battled Brendan Penn to a 6-3, 6-1 defeat.

Immaculata hosts Neumann on Wednesday at 4 p.m.
