Volleyball Tripped Up By Marywood, 3-1

IMMACULATA, Pa.
- The Immaculata University's volleyball team lost a Colonial States Athletic Conference match to visiting Marywood, 3-1, Thursday night on senior night. After the Mighty Macs won the first set, 26-24, the Pacers came back to win three straight, 25-19, 25-22 and 25-21.

Both Jayme Lenosky and Kathleen Haefner recorded double-doubles for the match. Lenosky led the Mighty Macs' attack with 11 kills and had 15 digs. Haefner recorded 21 assists and a team-best 17 digs.

Courtney Sahm tallied six kills and 11 digs. Lindsey Silvestro was second on the squad with seven kills while Kelly Langley amassed 12 digs.

Marywood (9-14, 7-4 CSAC) had three players with double-doubles. Taryn Borden had a match-high 17 kills and 14 digs, Emily Fillman recorded 13 kills and 19 digs, and Riona Corr finished with 44 assists and 19 digs.

Immaculata (6-15, 4-6 CSAC) concludes the 2009 Saturday, Oct. 31, traveling to Baptist Bible for a 3 p.m. match against the Lady Defenders.
