IMMACULATA, Pa. - Immaculata University's volleyball team closed out the non-conference portion of the schedule Monday night sweeping Alvernia University, 3-0, at Alumnae Hall. The Mighty Macs won the match with set scores of 25-17, 25-21 and 25-20.

Immaculata (6-14) was led by Jayme Lenosky's 14 kills and four service aces. Lenosky finished the match hitting .462 on 26 attacks with 14 kills and two errors. Lindsey Silvestro had six kills and a .385 hitting percentage (one error, 13 attacks).

Kathleen Haefner set up the Mighty Macs' attack with 24 assists while also racking up five kills and eight digs. Courtney Sahm led the defense with a match-high 12 digs, and Tabitha Reilly totaled 10 digs.

The Crusaders' (0-23) were led by Diane Lightner and Alyssa Soltis who each tallied seven kills. Ashley Kutcher amassed 18 assists, and Nicole Swinehart finished with 11 digs.

Immaculata hosts MArywood on Thursday night at 7 p.m. It marks senior day and the final home match of the season for the Mighty Macs.
