RADNOR, Pa. – The Immaculata University volleyball team was defeated 3-0 by Cabrini College Saturday morning in Colonial States Athletic Conference action. The host Cavaliers earned the sweep with scores of 25-13, 25-8 and 25-19.
Immaculata falls to 5-14 overall and 4-5 in the CSAC with the loss, while Cabrini stays undefeated in the conference at 10-0 and 21-6 overall.
Lindsey Silvestro's five kills led the Mighty Macs. Courtney Sahm tallied four kills, four service aces and seven digs. Kathleen Haefner added seven assists and a team-high 10 digs.
Cabrini had two players in double figures in kills as Stephanie Recklau had 11 and Traci Beltz finished with 10 kills. Lizzie Williams had 35 assists and eight digs, while Courtney Abel led the Cavaliers defense with 22 digs.
Immaculata plays a non-conference match against Alvernia on Monday. First serve is set for 7 p.m.
