GLENSIDE, Pa. – Immaculata University's volleyball team fell to Arcadia University in a non-conference volleyball match, 3-0, Saturday afternoon. The Mighty Macs lost the match with set scores of 25-22, 25-20 and 32-30.
The Mighty Macs (4-11) were relentless and fought for every point in the third set trying to pick up a set win and avoid the sweep.
Nicole Preziuso led the Mighty Macs with 11 kills and added nine digs, while Jayme Lenosky also amassed 10 kills. Courtney Sahm recorded eight kills and eight digs, and Lindsey Silvestro registered four kills to go along with her five total blocks. Kathleen Haefner set up 31 of the Mighty Macs' kills, and Katiemarie Gale led the team with 11 digs.
Arcadia was led by Hailey Barger's 16 kills, while Natasha Wetten added a double-double performance with 11 kills and 10 digs. Jessyca Stoler dished out 32 assists and earned 10 digs.
Immaculata returns to Colonial States Athletic Conference action on Wednesday, traveling to Philadelphia Biblical at 7 p.m.
