Immaculata Volleyball Falls 3-1 To Neumann

ASTON, Pa. – The Immaculata volleyball team fell 3-1 to Neumann in Colonial States Athletic Conference action on Tuesday night, Sept. 30. The Knights won the match with set scores of 25-14, 22-25, 25-8 and 25-16.

Neumann stays unblemished in CSAC action improving its league mark to 4-0 and its overall record to 9-8. Immaculata slips to 4-7 overall and 1-2 in the conference.

Nicole Preziuso led the Mighty Macs with a double-double performance of 11 kills and 11 digs, team highs in both categories. Courtney Sahm, Alexis Erazo and Terri Reynolds each amassed four kills, and Reynolds added nine digs. Kathleen Haefner had two service aces and eight digs in the effort.

Neumann placed three players in double figure kills, and Kristen Verone recorded a double-double with 42 assists and 18 digs. Julia Tarloski and Emilee Gruse each totaled 17 kills to lead the Knights attack.

Immaculata returns home on Thursday taking on the College of Notre Dame at 7 p.m.
