ROSEMONT, Pa. – Immaculata's volleyball team earned its first Colonial States Athletic Conference win of the season by sweeping host Rosemont, 3-0, on Wednesday night. Immaculata swept the match with game scores of 25-10, 25-10 and 25-14.
The Mighty Macs improve to 2-6 overall and 1-1 in the CSAC while the Ramblers slip to 0-12, 0-2 CSAC.
Jayme Lenosky paced the Mighty Macs with nine kills, two blocks and four service aces. Nicole Preziuso amassed seven kills and a team-high four digs, and Courtney Sahm totaled five kills. Kathleen Haefner set up the attack with 21 assists and added six service aces.
The Ramblers were led by Jessica DeMaskey with four kills, while Christa Bednarek made eight assists and five digs.
Immaculata travels to Penn State Harrisburg for a non-league match on Saturday, Sept. 27, at 11 a.m.
