READING, Pa. – Immaculata University's men's tennis team dropped its season opener, 9-0, to Alvernia College on Thursday, March 13, in the Pennsylvania Athletic Conference opener for both programs.
Bobby DeYoung fell 6-0, 6-1 to Zachary Lockwood at the No. 1-singles position, while Dave Harlan fell to Phillip Synder, 6-0, 6-1, in the No. 2 spot. The tandem of DeYoung and Harlan fell to Ryan Lineaweaver and Longckwood, 8-3, at No. 1 doubles.
Immaculata returns to action on Thursday, March 27, when it hosts Eastern University in the home opener. First serve is slated for 3:30 p.m.
