IMMACULATA, Pa. – The Immaculata volleyball team has its senior night spoiled as Cabrini defeated the Mighty Macs, 3-1, in the regular-season home finale. The visiting Cavaliers won the match with set scores of 25-7, 25-19, 19-25 and 25-17.
Immaculata ends the regular season at 11-11 overall and 6-4 in the CSAC, while Cabirni ends the league slate at 17-11 overall, 8-2 in the CSAC.
Kathleen Haefner and Nicole Preziuso each registered double-double performances during the match. Haefner amassed 23 assists and 16 digs while Preziuso tallied a team-best 12 kills and 16 digs. Jayme Lenosky also reached double figures in kills with 10 and had two blocks.
Terri Reynolds added five kills, nine digs and three blocks. Lisa Bifulco and Alexis Erazo each added nine digs in the Mighty Macs effort.
Alexis Doss led Cabrini with a match-high 14 kills while Stephanie Recklau added 12 kills. Michelle Mola tallied a match-best 23 digs for the Cavaliers. Lizzie Williams registered the only double-double for Cabrini with 32 assists and 10 digs.
Immaculata has earned a berth in the CSAC Tournament, but will have to wait to see who its opponent in the quarterfinals will be.
