BRYN ATHYN, Pa. – Immaculata's volleyball team outlasted Kean, 3-2, in non-conference action on Saturday afternoon at Bryn Athyn. The Mighty Macs took the match by set scores of 27-29, 25-21, 18-25, 25-20 and 15-13.
Immaculata improves to 11-9 overall, while the Cougars fall to 7-15 overall.
Kathleen Haefner registered her seventh straight double-double performance with 48 assists and 13 digs and added six kills. Jayme Lenosky paced the Mighty Macs attack with 10 kills and added six digs and three total blocks in the effort.
Terri Reynolds tallied eight kills and 17 digs while Nicole Preziuso amassed 21 digs and seven kills. Courtney Sahm also recorded double figure digs with 17.
Kean was led by Jamie Sacco who had 12 kills to go along with 16 digs. Ivana Kapatenovic led all players with 13 kills while Mary Aldana had a team-high 33 digs.
Immaculata travels to Marywood on Tuesday, October 28 at 7 p.m.
