Men's Soccer Shuts Out Neumann, 3-0

IMMACULATA, Pa. – Immaculata men's soccer got back on the winning track on Saturday afternoon at Draper Walsh Stadium as they defeated Neumann, 3-0, in Colonial States Athletic Conference (CSAC) action.

The Mighty Macs move to 6-4-2 overall and 2-1 in the CSAC while the Knights are now 3-8-2 and 1-1 in the league.

Immaculata had a 1-0 lead at halftime after a Neumann own goal 32:21 into the contest. Alan Lorentz hit a rocket into the box that a Neumann defender jumped to head out, but instead the ball curled into the top right corner just inside the post.

Immaculata led in shots 12-8, while Neumann held the advantage in corner kicks, 4-3.

Zach Oas made five saves in 90 minutes in the net for the Mighty Macs. Neumann goalkeeper Robert Mastrillo recorded six saves in the loss.
