Immaculata Falls To Ursinus College

Immaculata University men's soccer team suffered its first loss of the 2007 season as they fell to Ursinus College 1-0 on Saturday, September 8, in Collegeville, Pennsylvania.

John George recorded the lone goal of the contest in the 70th minute.  He was assisted on the tally by George Belaires.

Junior Jimmy Casper collected five saves between the pipes for the Mighty Macs (1-1).  The Bears (2-2) outshot Immaculata 16-6 and also held a 3-2 advantage in corner kicks.

The Mighty Macs return to action on Tuesday, September 11, when they host Gwynedd-Mercy College in their home opener under the lights.  Kick-off is set for 7 pm.
